Web privacy policy
This Privacy Statement sets out the data protection practices carried out through the use of the Internet and any other electronic communications networks by Vulkoprin nv and its associated companies (all together “VULKOPRIN”, “We” or “Us”) when interacting with customers, vendors, business partners and others. VULKOPRIN recognizes the importance of maintaining the privacy of personal information collected through these means.

1.1. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide by filling out and submitting online questionnaires concerning feedback on the website, requesting information on products or services, or seeking employment.
1.2. Where we collect personal information directly from you, we will inform you about the purposes of the collection, the types of non-Agent third parties to which we will disclose this data and, as appropriate and required, the choices and the means we offer you for limiting the use and disclosure of your personal information. 4.1 We will only disclose personal information to other companies within our group of companies, government bodies and law enforcement agencies, successors in title to our business and suppliers we engage to process data on our behalf. In these circumstances we will share your personal information for purposes such as our legitimate business purposes and to comply with legal obligations.
4.2 We do not sell or share any personal information with non-Agent third parties.
4.3 We will obtain assurances from our Agents that they will safeguard personal information consistently with this Privacy Statement. Where we have knowledge that an Agent is using or disclosing personal information in a manner contrary to this Privacy Statement, we will take reasonable steps to prevent or stop the use or disclosure. VULKOPRIN holds it Agents accountable for maintaining the trust our customers place in the company through the use of documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements.

5.1 This Privacy Statement applies only to data collected by VULKOPRIN through a VULKOPRIN website.
5.2 VULKOPRIN websites contain links to other sites that are not owned or administered by VULKOPRIN. Please be aware that we not control and, consequently, VULKOPRIN is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other third party sites. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of every Web site you visit since their privacy practices may differ from those of VULKOPRIN.
- Security
6.1 We maintain reasonable safeguards to protect against unauthorized disclosure, misuse, alteration, or destruction of the personal information you provide to us through the VULKOPRIN websites. We protect data in many ways. Physical security is designed to prevent unauthorized access to database equipment and hard copies containing our confidential information, including your personal information. This protection may include in some locations entry-controls of the company, usage of lockable drawers and cupboards to protect personal information, destruction of the papers and digital storage devices including personal and/or sensitive information when they are no longer required. - Timely Processing
VULKOPRIN will not keep personal information data longer than it’s necessary for the purpose or purposes for which it was they were collected.
- Updates to this Privacy Notice
From time to time we may update this Privacy Statement. When we do so, we will publish the changes on the VULKOPRIN sites. If you do not agree to these changes, please do not continue to use the VULKOPRIN sites. If material changes are made to this Privacy Statement, we will notify you by placing a prominent notice on the VULKOPRIN sites. Please check back to ensure that you are informed of any updates or changes to our privacy policy.
9 . Access rights and disputes
9.1 You have the option to request that we do not use, correct or remove personal information previously provided to us. For these purposes you should forward such inquiries to “info(at)vulkoprin.be”. The inquiries should include your name, address, and other relevant contact information (phone number, email address). VULKOPRIN will use all reasonable efforts to honor such requests as quickly as possible.
9.2 You can also forward your inquiries or any other questions or concerns by post to the VULKOPRIN office address given below. We will investigate and attempt to resolve any questions, complaints or disputes regarding use and disclosure of personal information in accordance with the principles contained in this Privacy Statement.
