The family owned business Vandezande in Diksmuide may rightly call itself a specialist in the water treatment sector.  Because of its many years of experience, this West-Flemish company has developed and installs the so-called moveable bridges.

Challenge

These slow running systems efficiently discharge the sediment from the water purification tanks. The challenge in this design consists of the elastic wheels that carry the full weight of the moveable bridge and its drive. And all this in a very corrosive environment.
