Tielt, 5 Mai 2020 – Vulkoprin nv signed an agreement in Minden to purchase Vulkoprin Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG – German-based leading wholesaler of technical wheels. With the acquisition of this long-standing partner, Vulkoprin nv ensures an established market position in Germany in the field of technical wheels for the material handling, mechanical engineering & theme park industries.
“The acquisition of Vulkoprin Deutschland is a strategically important step for expanding Vulkoprin’s market position”, explains Chairman & CEO Jan Maes, M.Eng.. “This allows us to closely coordinate our technical experience and market know-how and serve the German market optimally”.
Vulkoprin nv and Vulkoprin Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG have enjoyed a business relationship for about 45 years now. When the polyurethane market was still in its infancy, the German Vulkoprin branch was a foothold in the country where polyurethane chemistry has its roots. The German branch has also contributed significantly to the growth of Vulkoprin nv.
